Plantextrakt's trade-fair presence was centred around its be fit – extracts for body and brain product concept. "Our new ideas with natural Tea and Herbal Extracts providing both, exciting taste and natural support for body and brain, struck exactly the right note," Claus Swatosch, Vice President Martin Bauer Pte. Ltd., underlined.
Visitors could sample three selected products from the be fit concept on the stand. For example the Elderberry-Cherry Yoghurt Drink, which provides a fast-acting boost of energy. "At Plantextrakt, our ideas for energy beverages are exclusively based on the natural energy providers such as Guarana, Ginseng, Green Tea, Maté or Cola Nut," Claus Swatosch elaborated. The company also presented an Acerola-Kiwi-Lemon beverage at the trade fair. This product idea contains Damiana Leaf and Taiga Root Extracts and therefore enhances physical performance and vitality. The third product presented on the stand was an Elderberry-Ginseng beverage. "This product idea demonstrates the way in which extracts are capable of heightening mental performance and cognitive skills," Claus Swatosch explained and went on to say, "The effects of the extracts have been substantiated scientifically."
Within the framework of two independent studies, the Martin Bauer Group was able to prove that Ginkgo and Ginseng Extracts and the Theogallin in Green Tea promote a sense of well-being and help to heighten alertness. "The beverage ideas presented at the fair are representative of the three segments of our new be fit – extracts for body and brain product concept: Energy, Body Vitality and Brain", emphasised Claus Swatosch. "They are just three examples from a vast number of possible formulations. We at Plantextrakt develop individual product ideas to meet the specific requirements and wishes of our customers."
The Martin Bauer Group, with its headquarters in Germany, has been operating in the Asian region for many years now and has been maintaining an office in Manila since 2008. "We are sure that the Food Ingredients Philippines trade show helped to make our products and services even more well known in the Asian region," said Claus Swatosch. "It goes without saying that only high-quality, tested raw materials are used as the basis for our products."
