Europlant Group supports school in Vrané, Czech Republic

With Megafyt, the Europlant Group has championed modern instruction for pupils attending school in its Czech location in Vrané nad Vltavou. Over the past 4 years Megafyt has provided around € 15,000 in funding assistance for use by the local primary and secondary school for the purchase of new technology and furnishings.

Megafyt has been assisting the primary and secondary school in Vrané since 2007. The school itself dates back to its establishment in 1819. Thanks to the fundings, the school can provide its current student body of 270 pupils with modern fixtures and, as a result, with instruction at a high level: among other things, pupils in the first through ninth forms now have the use of two computer rooms, together with an extensive array of equipment for use in chemistry and physics instruction, as well as outdoor sport facilities. Also currently in planning are a gymnasium of the school's own and a school kitchen with canteen.

As part of the nature network®, it is also important to the Europlant Group in Vrané to get involved with the region and the people living there. Accordingly, in addition to supporting the primary and secondary school, Megafyt also provides sponsorship assistance on a regular basis to local sport clubs, the fire department and other projects within the community.
